A slew of live photographs have surfaced, revealing what looks to be Samsung's next Galaxy Z Flip 4 in all its splendor, and confirming prior reports such as the phone's screen having an almost non-existent crease.

A spate of leaked renderings of Samsung's next-generation clamshell foldable phone recently appeared, and the latest leak appears to confirm those photos. The real-world photographs, courtesy of TechTalkTV(opens in new tab), give us our finest look yet at the Galaxy Z Flip 3 successor.

In comparison to the previous generation, one notable improvement is the smoother display. This indicates that Samsung is addressing one of the Flip 3's flaws: the wrinkle in the display. This isn't the first time we've heard anything like this; earlier this month, tipster Ice universe disclosed the same prospective design upgrade.

"The Flip 4's crease is significantly shallower than the Flip 3, and I think most people will be happy," the tipster recently tweeted.

The fresh leak also shows that Samsung's next challenger for the greatest foldable phone would have a slightly bigger cover display. Furthermore, the Galaxy Z Flip 4's hinge looks to be narrower than its predecessor. When the phone is folded, however, a little gap between the two sides remains visible.

Apart from those adjustments, there isn't much of a difference in terms of overall design between the incoming phone and its predecessor. It features the same metal frame as the Flip 3, as well as the same number of camera lenses and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie snapper. It will very certainly come in a two-tone color scheme. In the video below, you can see a few additional details.

The cameras appear to be the same as well. According to TechTalkTV, the Flip 4's cameras will include the same 12MP primary sensor and 12MP ultrawide camera as the Flip 3, as well as a 10MP selfie camera.

Nonetheless, we might anticipate a few battery improvements. The Flip 4 will have a larger 3,700mAh battery and a quicker 25W wired charging speed than the Flip 3's 3,300mAh battery and 15W fast charging, according to the source. This is in line with previous rumors.

The Flip 4 is anticipated to be released in August, and we'll almost certainly hear more rumors and leaks before then.
