You may now transfer WhatsApp conversations from Android to iPhone.

Users of WhatsApp may now migrate from Android to iPhone without losing their conversations.

Contacts, messages, and calendars could previously be transferred, but not WhatsApp.

The capability, which was disclosed in a Facebook post by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, works solely on new or factory reset iPhones and uses Apple's current Move to iOS app for Android.

Open WhatsApp and sign in using the same phone number you used to set up the iPhone. Your previous Android conversation history should now be visible.

You must continue to use the same phone number as before. Then, on your iOS device, download the migrate to ios app.

The Android smartphone must be running Android 5 or above, and the iPhone must be running iOS 15.5 or higher.
