Telegram is one of the greatest cross-platform chat programs, and new features are added on a regular basis. Telegram Premium, a new subscription-based initiative from the privacy-focused social media network, is presently in development.

Telegram, unlike the Meta-owned social media services, is completely free. Though the firm has been testing support for adverts such as sponsored messages in the public channels, the chat app has not been publicly monetized.

Pavel Durov, the Telegram messenger's creator, stated in 2021 that the company was looking for new ways to insert adverts into public channel postings. Telegram's experimental advertising, according to the firm, will be short postings with a character restriction of only 160 characters and no external connections, but will feature a link to a specific channel.

Telegram is also introducing a new premium membership to the chat service, in addition to official adverts.

The business is apparently intending to develop a subscription platform that would start at $4.99 and remove the chat app's constraints. However, the premium plan's details are currently unknown.

A Telegram community that keeps track of new features coming to the platform provided the following list of upcoming changes:

• Limits have been doubled.

• Maximum upload size is 4 GB.

• Increased download speed

• Voice-to-Text Conversion is a service that converts audio into text.

• There are no advertisements.

• Reactions that are one-of-a-kind.

• High-Quality Stickers

• Chat management that is advanced.

• Badge for your profile.

• Avatars that are animated.

• Additional icons for the program

Telegram Premium is available in beta for Android users, however you cannot subscribe to the service at this time.
